Had a lot of showers this week up to now, but some of the rain storms at night have been tremendous!! I love the noise of the rain on the steel roof, makes you feel really cosy laying there under the quilt.
But, it has still been warm. We had temperature of 25 degrees the other day, and coupled with the humidity, I was dripping!!
Just had Paddy to the vets to get his stiches out. They had a check on his ears at the same time, seems I had been given bad info about putting his ear cream in. The vet gave his ears a good flush out and showed me how to put the cream right in using a model as example. He virtually dragged me in to the vets, usually the other way round with dogs I've found, but he LOVES the place!! How odd, he was whining to go in and soon as he got out of the car he was straining on the lead.
Louisa has been going to bead classes, making necklaces and bracelets and other trinkets. She really been enjoying it. Kieran been making some models too. He is going through a James Bond phase at the moment too, going round the close playing games looking like something out of the SAS, walkie talkies, gun belts, beanie hats and camo gear..... they having fun and harmless fun at that.
