My cartilage is now officially broken - I have a moon shaped tear of the meniscus of my left knee which is going to need surgery to repair it. Glad as it has been a bit hit and miss up to now, but now the operation is scheduled for some time in May. The specialist over in Hamilton just popped me up on the couch, twisted my leg one way then the next, felt the tell tale pop and clicks then just said 'o.k. - op for you!!!' It is a classic rugby injury apparently, but not played since I was at school :D
No fun not being able to do much though, a lot of discomfort and boring as heck sat at home... still, onwards and upwards.
Been a lovely sunny weekend but the temperature is getting lower, went to 7 degrees overnight and you can now feel the air freshening, but it looks lovely with the leaves turning golden. One blessing is not having 2 gigantic oak trees in our garden showering us with acorns and leaves, don't envy the guy at our old rental, he has some serious work to come.
