A few pics and a big hi to Joe West and family!!

Hiya Joe, told you I'd give you a mention :D


As you were so fascinated by the volcanoes, thought I'd put a few pics on for you as well as a few more of Kieran and Louisa doing their stuff down here.

First one is Mount Ngaurahoe (~pronounced narrahoey). We took this pic after we had been skiing on Kieran's birthday last year. We were at the Mount Ruapehu (roo a pay hoo) ski field, and you already know that it is the highest peak in the north island, and an active volcano at that!

Second pic is taken in Taupo of Lake Taupo (which is the result of a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago) with Ruapehu in the background.

Third pic is Kieran and Louisa skiing on the volcano with the ski instructor.
