School art fundraising evening.

Had a busy evening doing this - spent 3 hours at the BBQ, cooked hundreds of sausages for the fundraising effort!

Didn't mind, volunteered to do it and it is all for the good of the kids and the school. Kieran even came along to supervise when he wasn't acting in things in the hall.....

Hey Stevie,

I was hoping you could help me out if you don't mind. I am trying to register and become a member of the forum at www.emigratenz.org and have been having trouble registering. I haven't been able to locate a way to contact the web administrator and I thought an active member like yourself could. My username is Yank_Kiwi and here is the message I get after I sign on:

"Hi Yank_Kiwi,

Our records show that you don't seem to have confirmed your email address yet.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to access all parts of the forum until you've done this.

Sometimes our emails have been known to go into spam folders so, if you haven't received our email asking you to confirm your email address, please check in your spam folder."

I have checked my junk folder for my email address and there has been nothing from the emigration forum. Is it possible for you to contact the site administrator and ask them to try again to get in contact with Yank_Kiwi? I can verify that my correct email address is listed on the site but I am hesitant to list it here because I'm not familiar with blogs and am not sure where all it will go. Thank you for your consideraton and I will try to check back with this blog to see if you have gotten this and have posted a reply.

By the way, I like your site. The pictures are great and it looks like your family is really enjoying life.

Regards,

Art, have contacted the admin, but unsure as to why you couldn't do it yourself.... no probs, hopefully they will be able to sort it out directly with you :)

Stevie,

Thank you very much for your help. If you can tell me how I can contact the admin myself I would gladly do so, however everything I have tried to do on that site, I have been blocked with the message that I quoted above. No email from the admin yet, but I'll keep checking. Thanks again.

Hey Stevie,

I really hate to bother you again but I waited several days to see if I would get anything from the admin but still nothing. I really do appreciate your help and I would really like to get registered on this forum so that is why I'm being so pesky, I mean persistant. My wife and I will be traveling to the South Island next month (our third visit) and we are seriously considering making a move there and this forum looks like it would be a great help. I thought that if I could get on the forum before our trip, we may discover some things we can do while we are there that could give us a head start on immigration plans. I don't mean to step all over your space but I couldn't figure out another way to communicate with the admin or any other members. However, just say the word and I'll try to find another 'lucky' soul to bother and will stop bugging you. Anyway, if you're still reading, my next thought was this; I'll pass along my email and if you can give it directly to the admin, without publishing it for public consumption please, then I would be sure he has the correct one. I will give it here in two pieces, just because I am paranoid that there may be some hacker out there with some kind of web robot that looks for people's emails. Here's my code, as ineffective as it may be: The last part is @carolina.rr.com. The first part is acunningham. If you're still with me and haven't written me off as crazy, stupid, or a deranged stalker, I thank you again and look forward to your reply. (Feel free to email me directly if you’d like, but I can understand your preference for privacy if you’d like to keep our communication at arms length.)

Kind regards,

Art
