Camping
Went for a camping trip over to Raglan for Jan's birthday. Just to get out of the house and get a bit of fresh air and relax as well as celebrate her birthday.
Went to a lovely little camp site, basic but very well kept. It was literally in the middle of nowhere, very dodgy road to get to it, but it was worth it. A little stream ran through which gave us lots of opportunities for games (boat races which were made from leaves, pooh sticks, the dog having fun in the water as well)
Weather held out, we got a bit of rain overnight on Saturday, sunny on Sunday. We had literally just put the last bit of equipment in the car and the heavens opened!
Took a little run over to Raglan after this and got a bit of fishing in for the kids.
Then it was pizza and home - a great weekend.
