Our little Tui friend - The Parson Bird

We have been serenaded by the most beautiful birdsong for the last few weeks. The Tui bird has made our bottlebush trees (Callistemon rigidus) its spring time feeding place. Sitting outside our lounge window it serenades us from early morning to late evening before it goes off somewhere safer to roost for the night. It is a pleasure to see such beautiful wildlife so close to our doorstep.
