The weather has been fantastic for a while now, and we can't complain at all. But, when we were waiting to make our move, somebody told us that you don't get warm nights like the Mediterreanean area in NZ - codswallop!! There are some nights that have been uncomfortably warm, with tonight being no exception. Just been out in the spa, stood there dripping wet afterwards, and it was so warm, didn't really bother with the towel. I have just checked my local weather site and it is still 24 degrees outside, and it is 10:30pm. It reached 29 degrees in Cambridge today, so it shows that it has barely cooled down this evening.
Taupo was roasting earlier today, you could feel the sun burning in to your skin and your clothing. On top of the hilll was so warm and peaceful, with the odd Tui singing its' glorious song and the buzz of the busy insects, we can honestly say that this weather we are experiencing is beyond our expectations.
