And Kieran was playing in Ngahinapouri, was at the wicket for ages but only managed to score 13 runs. Didn't doo too badly, but his bowling was a bit off, but it is the first game back and practice has been minimal. They were narrowly defeated and if there wasn't a middle order collapse it may have been different.
Louisa stayed out at her friends last night after her first miniball game (a bit like basketball) and her dad's fiancee plays netball for the Magics, the Waikato team. Quite a few of the NZ Silver Ferns play for them too, so Louisa was in her element watching them practice today. She got to see Eileen van Dyke, (the goal shoot, one of her favourites) and another four who I can't remember. They went to the pools for a swim afterwards and she is still buzzing about it all.
A bit of a lazy day though, fell asleep when we got back coz I had a lousy night's sleep and it has been a busy old week in work. Plus the rain doesn't exactly make you want to go out either. Ho hum.
