Busy old week

It's been a busy old week. The Barmy Army are in town for the cricket test, and not doing too well on that score after NZ's big opening bat. The pitch is lifeless and England have struggled to match the score.

Thursday saw me working in Rotorua as usual doing a radio link installation when I did my medial knee ligament in! Very painful, burning sensation in my knee and so difficult to walk, I ended up hopping round to get out of the place I working at. So had to limp back to Cambridge (well, in the van but 60 miles of NZ roads having to change clutch with the bad leg didn't exactly come easy)
and went straight to the doctor. I now sport one of those fancy leg braces that keep the leg straight while the problem heals. Got to return on Monday for re-assessment to know whether physio is required or not. Still, at least I got to watch the cricket on the tv..... :D
