On a different note, tomorrow is ANZAC day. The dawn service starts in Cambridge at 6am. I think I'll go to this, and collect Kieran a bit later on because he is marching with the scouts.
We missed it last year and we heard it is really good. I only ever took part in Armistice Day on one occasion, but that was when my naval uniform fitted me LOL I am entitled to take part in these things as I served, albeit in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary for a short time. Still MOD, still the ships were painted grey and had weapons on board and RN personnel too!
So, it will be nice to see a different angle and see how it is done down here.
