Have spent the last few days running round like headless chickens, visiting friends and family. Wednesday saw us taking a trip down to Alton Towers theme park. Got there to nice enough weather, but come the afternoon and the heavens opened! We were a bit wet from the rides earlier on but this just added to the misery. It did brighten up a bit later on so we warmed up a bit, but it was the first time that we have ever encountered rain at the park. We still enjoyed it though.
We have met quite a few people on our return, and went to visit the staff and pupils at the kids old school. It was good to see the staff and have a chat, and the kids enjoyed seeing some of their old mates.
The wedding rehearsal was held this evening (Thurs) and the kids went through their roles in the ensuing ceremony. Everything is geared to this now, with one or two final things to do.
After that we have a few days to get some more stuff sorted out before we head back down to NZ. Don't suppose it will be too good because we have all those horrible goodbyes to say again... that is one thing nobody looks forward to.
