Our boy is 13!!!!

Goodness me, does that make us feel old and wonder where the years have gone!

Anyway, Kieran, our number one son, turned into a teenager yesterday. Goodness knows we love him so much, but he is maturing at a great rate. Yes, he has his moments, some, like in the Vivo City in Singapore (Kevin and Perry moment!) when he realised what he was doing, are hilarious. But he is growing, maturing in to a young man, and has his sights set on goals that I would never have envisaged when he was a little bundle in my arms on 2nd September 1995. The day the QE2 was in Liverpool (how ironic) and the day Frank Bruno won his world crown....

So, we took him out for a little family tea last night to Breakers in Hamilton. Nothing fancy, just a family meal (really good actually) in a surfing theme restaurant. Quite appropriate as we got him a new surfboard for his birthday!! And a decent enough menu and stuff for veggies too.

Happy Birthday son, you make us proud, we love you, and we hope you enjoy your "teens" and grow further to be the man we hope and dream you can become. The world is your oyster, and if you have goals and aspirations as you do, it makes life easier.

Mum and Dad xx
