Spring is coming

Well, the bulk of winter is finally behind us. The daffodils and blossom trees are gracing us with their colour, the days are lengthening and the weather is turning milder. It makes getting up easier in the morning, work is better in the milder weather, especially when you get views like I did from Mount Te Aroha last week - stunning views across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty. White Island, the volcano off shore, was spewing out ash and steam after a recent eruption, the Kaimai ranges were splendidly lush and green and the sky was that deeper blue you get at higher altitudes. Roll on spring and summer!!! Views from Mount Te Aroha - nice work if you can get it!!
