BBQ

Went to a BBQ last night at the house of the new Sally Army chaplains. They are lovely people, and they literally live over the other side of the field from us. The barby was lovely, I sat there and got waited on hand and foot coz I had to wear my leg brace as my knee was knackered after the day at the swimming pools, even though I sat down all day, getting up in to the stands was a work of art!!

First alcohol free BBQ we been to, but Jan had a toot of some Blue Bols beforehand and I had a quick bottle of beer. Was nice though and you wouldn't think looking at them that they are involved in the Sally's.

Kids enjoyed it coz their 14 year old son sat there and watched movies with them while we chatted in the other room.
